IDEAS FROM EUROPE COMPETITION
TEDx Brixton in association with the Department for Business Innovation and Skills are proud to bring to the UK, the Ideas from Europe competition: The Search for ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world. For the first time, the 28 Member States of the European Union will join forces in search for the best and most inspiring ideas that have the potential to change the world for the better, while showcasing the best talent from Europe.
Each country including the UK, will select a winner that will represent their country at the 2015 SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) Assembly in Luxembourg on the 18th of November – 20th of November. The winner must be available to travel to Luxembourg from 18th to 20 November. All expenses will be paid.
This is one of the most significant events for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe. The SME Assembly will takes place during and in cooperation with the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union. An international jury and Assembly delegates will select the ‘top 9’ candidates. The 10th candidate will be chosen by public voting.
The final 10 will then be invited to present their idea at The Hall of Knights on March 31st, 2016 in The Hague.
The spotlight will be on Europe’s most inspiring visionary ideas that deserve to take the world stage.
This competition is about finding the best ideas in a number of areas including education, technology, science and at a community level. We need to select an individual who will represent the UK at the SME assembly in Luxembourg, in November.
