Retractable Patio Awning - The retractable version of patio awnings is more posh and pricier. But they are usually easier to be used and installed compared to the fixed type of patio awning. These patio awnings use mechanical systems for rolling up their canvas overhang and for protecting that canvas from getting faded and torn when not being used. One more way to make use of another focal point is to make it a gaming or a snacking area. Or you can make it a hobby spot. This would require an activity table. Usually a large round one will do. Then, place upholstered chairs with wooden chairs for an informal touch.

Unique Cork board ornaments:
I found the easiest way to start was to make a pattern on paper first of what ever shape you want your ornament to be (circle, square, heart) or you could even make a snowman or Santa. Then cut out you paper pattern and trace it on the cork-board, now your ready to cut out your ornament. When cutting the cork board just be careful it breaks easily. Next punch a whole at the top of your ornament, this will be where you hang your ornament from. Now for the fun part, grab a bunch of puffy paints in all different colors and began decorating and designing your own unique ornament. Once the ornament is dry you can tie a piece of ribbon through the whole at the top, this will be your hanger.

Keep in mind is that the fireplace mantle must go well with other architectural elements in the room. Installing a small and relatively plain mantle, when the room includes elements like chair railing or ornate baseboards, might not be a good idea. At the same time, a mantle featuring carved bunches of cherries would look out of place in a contemporary room. Smart thing to do is to go for surrounds that will enhance what you have going on, without causing the room to seem out of balance.
Usually wooden surrounds can be supplied in Pine, Oak, Mahogany, Cherry, Maple, Beech, Butternut, Choi, Poplar, Basswood in fact, pretty much any wood you specify. Natural wood is the best choice whether you want an ornate carved fireplace surround or something simple and colonial in style.
