A little tip I find useful is to add an extra half inch to the drop (length) measurement. This is because and don't ask me why. The shade once made and hung seems to shrink a little. So adding it on now means it's more likely to fit spot on once made.
Ready made curtains just won't cut it!
If you want to create a consistent look in your home, you can get dual purpose cabinets for your cooking area as well as the bathrooms. When you purchase a cabinet for use in your kitchen, make certain it will have enough space to hold all the cleaners and kitchen items that you want to hide away. If your house has a traditional look featuring a lot of antiques, you can find antique cabinets and countertops in a matching style. You may be able to find a good price on antique furniture by purchasing items from a well-known dealer when the items go on sale.
Believe it or not there are numerous things to consider when purchasing a bedside table, but you don't have to be a realist. You may need to be a little pragmatic though and if you have limited storage space in your bedroom you should really consider choosing a bedside table or bedside cabinet that offers you that all important storage. Having the option to hide your personal items away in a self-contained cupboard or shelf will make your room look less cluttered and much neater.
The base of the lampshade should be at shoulder level when sitting in a reading position.

When Virginia Gardiner came up with the idea of a waterless lavatory that turns waste into energy, she sought to create a product that ??rethinks a basic part of life’ -something she feels we take for granted but should improve. “Toilets are about much more than a product,” she says. “They are about systems, biology, culture, religion – now we have a great team who are all experts in various aspects of this really broad and interesting field.”
