Binki Taylor was the first of our 17 speakers to take to the stage and left the crowd in standing ovation with a moving story on her childhood as a black girl fostered by an all-white family. “I know exactly what it’s like to have a voice that isn’t understood. You feel like you don’t belong. Under the skin is where I found my voice. I had to tackle how to belong from the bottom.”Rebecca Trevalyan, Sam Hall and Steadman Scott also delivered their pieces on what Brixton means to them and thoughts on improving local communities. “What does Afewee mean? It’s for the community, it’s for us. Our mission is to put belief, passion, hard-work and discipline together,” Steadman explained.
Some incredible speakers

I found the easiest way to start was to make a pattern on paper first of what ever shape you want your ornament to be (circle, square, heart) or you could even make a snowman or Santa. Then cut out you paper pattern and trace it on the cork-board, now your ready to cut out your ornament. When cutting the cork board just be careful it breaks easily. Next punch a whole at the top of your ornament, this will be where you hang your ornament from. Now for the fun part, grab a bunch of puffy paints in all different colors and began decorating and designing your own unique ornament. Once the ornament is dry you can tie a piece of ribbon through the whole at the top, this will be your hanger.
When I am board at home that's when I get my most creative ideas. My niece and nephew where looking for something fun to entertain themselves and that's when I thought of making cork board ornaments. We just used some materials that we found lying around the house, it was like we where on a scavenger hunt. It's never to early to start making Christmas ornaments especially if you want to make some for gifts. Kids love being able to give gifts to, so this allows them a chance make a special gift for family and friends. These ornaments are quick and easy, we made several different ones and in less then a half hour, which is great if you have kids with a short attention span. This is a great project for kids of any age and adult to, so don't miss out on the fun.

this is an idea just perfect for girls. Buy or make a simple magnetic photo frame and decorate it with rhinestones in your favorite color. Also, you can use the rhinestones to decorate all of your locker accessories, like your magnetic dry erase board, your pencil holder, the edge of your locker shelf or even around the border of your locker mirror.

Benefits of a Wood Fireplace Surround
Finally, should you decide to go with wood for the fireplace surround, it is also important to determine what type of wood would be most appropriate. If you plan on staining the wood and want to bring out the natural beauty, going with oak or birch are the best bets. On the other hand, if you want a simple look and intend to paint the mantel you could go with a fireplace surround constructed of MDF.

In addition to run-of-the-mill circular pots and tubs, there are modern and ultra-modern forms--square, rectangular, triangular, hexagonal, and octagonal. Also eligible are old iron kitchen pots, kettles, pails, jugs, casks, vases, crocks, jam tubs, barrels and nail kegs, Japanese fish tubs, aged sinks, bathtubs, bamboo soy tubs. There are novelty containers such as driftwood, wheelbarrows, donkey carts, spinning wheels and boxes attached to roadside mail container. There are also bird cages, decorative well heads, animal figures, and Strawberry jars. Woven baskets may be used to conceal unattractive containers. Even tar paper pots, handled by garden centers and florists, are worthy if painted or veiled to upgrade their exterior. Any of these can be used in your container gardening ideas.
Different container garden ideas to ponder are old cookie and bean jars, pickle and other types of crocks, wash tubs, coal pails, jardinières, and ceramic bowls. For drainage, scatter a thick layer of substantial pebbles or shattered pieces of pots or bricks at the bottom and then moisten plants with care. In substantial containers, drainage material should be many inches thick. Where rainfall is hefty, be certain to keep garden containers without drainage outlets on porches, below awnings or the under sizable eaves of houses. With pails and old galvanized wash tubs, holes can be easily punctured at the bottom.

Maintenance of concrete is fairly easy since you need not clean and wash on a regular basis.

You can save even more money by devising your own plan. Remember that any carport design ideas you have must conform to the building codes in your area, and fit within the space you have available. You also need to be aware going in that the construction will take some time, and you need to gather all the needed materials yourself.
Very few car owners have found a way to completely protect a car from damage but most of the time the damage occurs when the car is parked either on a street or even on your property. As a matter of fact, the worse kind of damage comes from the sun itself. The sun's strong rays can fade the paint on the exterior of your vehicle and cause the interior surfaces to dry out and crack. Exposure to rain, wind, and snow is harmful as well. The least predictable way a car parked on the street may sustain damage is from an arrant child's toy or even another vehicle.
