TEDxBrixton 2014 will be held on Saturday 11th October 2014 at the Evelyn Grace Academy. We'll be adding more details to the website over the coming weeks. In the meantime, why not learn more about this year's theme: 'When Worlds Collide', see how our Kick-Off Day went, or read about what happened when a member of the team wore his TEDxBrixton T-Shirt to the World Cup in Rio.

In 2013...

A group of enthusiastic volunteers gathered together to host the very first TEDxBrixton; an amazing event for around 400 people. You can find videos from last year on the Talks 2013 page, as well as photos on Flickr. You can also read about what happened on the day in 2013, see who spoke and learn why we feel TEDxBrixton matters.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxBrixton, where x = independently organised TED event. At our TEDxBrixton event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organised. Read more.
